“At The Eleventh Hour”

Steel Cut Oats are a local Halifax indie 5-piece band. Their latest EP titled "At The Eleventh Hour" needs a distinguished cover for digital and physical release. Behind the cover is an abundance of band lore; all stemming from a road trip to the Yukon.
Inspiration + Context
The band debriefed me on their journey in the Yukon mountains, where they went to shoot the music video for their debut single “My Funeral”. They were inspired by my digital collage abilities and hoped I could recreate their experience for their EP cover in a similar way.
One essential component that had to be present in the cover was a bear. Not just any regular bear though, the band was insistent that it replicate the bear they encountered on their adventure; a black bear with a white stripe like a skunk, starting at the forehead and going down the back.
