Trident Cafe Stationery
Trident Bookseller & Cafe has quickly become my favourite place to retreat to for a place that feels like a home away from home. I felt so passionately towards this establishment that I went out of my way to essentially cold-call the place, offering my services.
Inspiration & Context
Trident is a Halifax gem with a rich history, one that I couldn’t meddle with carelessly, the last thing I wanted was to disrupt the ecosystem with something that puts too much emphasis on “modernizing” their brand.
I had to be delicate with my design choices, keeping aligned with the overall vibe of the place which can be simply put as; a cozy, intimate antique library where you would use those old library cards to check out books. That’s when the inspiration lightbulb struck me.
